Marlene is an enthusiastic English teacher with over 8 years of experience working with learners of all ages, from toddlers to adults in their 70s. She holds a degree in Education and a 120-hour TEFL certificate, and began her teaching journey in China, where she taught students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Having learned basic Mandarin herself, she understands the challenges of studying a foreign language and brings empathy, patience, and creativity into her lessons. Marlene believes language learning should be engaging, practical, and fun, focusing on real-life practice and confidence-building. She looks forward to supporting every student’s journey.
