1. How are Speakingathome's online English classes?
Speakingathome's private online English classes are one-to-one: in every session you'll have a teacher dedicated exclusively to you. Classes are taught via Microsoft Teams and follow a dynamic, personalized approach based on your level, needs and goals. You'll work on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, with special focus on speaking. You can choose 30 or 60-minute classes.
2. What level of English do I need to get started?
You can start from an A1 level (beginner). Our online English teachers are trained and experienced in teaching classes to students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. We also have bilingual teachers who can help you in Spanish when needed. If you're not sure which teacher to choose, contact us and we'll advise you. You can also try our method with a free 30-minute class.
3. How do class schedules work?
Each teacher publishes their own availability, so we offer online English classes in the morning, in the afternoon and on weekends. After registering, you'll be able to check each teacher's calendar and book directly the day and time that best suit you. If you need to keep a fixed schedule, you can also request a recurring booking, for example every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM.
4. Can I try a class before buying a package?
Yes. When you register at Speakingathome you'll get a free 30-minute trial class, with no need to enter a card or any other payment method. You can use it to get to know the platform, try our method and take your first class with the teacher you choose.
5. How much do online English classes cost?
Speakingathome offers one-to-one online English classes of 30 and 60 minutes on a prepaid basis. Prices start from €4.99 for a 30-minute class and from €9.93 for a 60-minute class. The price per class decreases the larger the package you purchase. You can pay by credit or debit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
